Block 5 for the needlepoint Painted Stitches Sampler is the Milanese Stitch. This stitch is a series of arrow heads on the diagonal, stitched in both directions. The Milanese Stitch needs some room to be effective. I painted and stitched the first step of the Milanese Stitch in yellow then I filled in the second step with blue.
