Many thanks to Cynthia, of Cyn Stitches, for talking about Stash Organization. Her blog was like a little voice in my head. “Organize this stuff and pull threads from home first!” Then, my friend Jean, the Organization Queen, stopped by Friday. She didn’t say anything about all the stuff on the table but just having her visit sends me into an organizational whirl. So Sat. was spent driving to both Joann’s and buying up every large Artbin container. These fit in the drawers behind my drafting table. My new motto is: Clear color, specialty threads, and decorative stitches. The threads are now in my “cockpit” and I can look at threads while I’m designing. I did pull many threads from home before going to Wool & Willow Tues. to finish the pull. Then I’ll write down all the names of threads for each area of the Gingerbread Farmhouse and post. I was really surprised to see how much I could pull from home now that I’m organized. Thank you Cynthia & Jean!
What a great way to organize those loose threads. I think I'll join you in neatly sorting my fibers and metallics so that I don't end up buying the same ones over and over again. Thanks

Hi Barbara,
It's wonderful to hear that I helped inspire you to get organized! :-)
Dare I ask about the other stitching supplies? LOL!
