Type: Block Stitch

Count: over 3

Pattern/Texture: Checkerboard pattern, significant texture

Ideal for: large blocks of color. i.e. backgrounds, borders

Overview: This is a variation of the Scotch Stitch. It works well in one color as well as two. The stitch will have a more dramatic look when stitched in two colors. Stitch all of the Tent stitches in the area first, then fill in the alternating Scotch Stitches.
