I'm trying something new today. I love the idea of stitching with River Silk silk ribbon. (I've never tried before!) There are many designers using this thread for flower designs. So I'm going to try Christmas. I bought the new pack of River Silks Christmas. I'm going to try "Painted Stitches" in a woven ribbon design stitched with River Silks Christmas. I'll keep you posted!

Jean's SR is lovely, indeed, and I use a lot of it - but I prefer the "embroidery" on the surface - those reds and greens make wonderful holly in silk ribbon embroidery stitches - try it!!
