I received this question today:
How does the needlepoint canvas (on #14/ #13 mesh) go into the Stirling checkbook since cover top lip does not have much space?
After putting the needlepoint in the checkbook I used a little Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue under the top lip and held it down for a couple of minutes. This worked great and held the flap down.

I havent finished these myself, just watched! It works best if you lay the
wallet flat. Dont trim wallet canvases too much. Then glue the upper lip. hope
