This week I used the thread I talked about last week. I have used Silk Lame' Braid as an accent thread but never stitched a whole project using only Silk Lame' Braid. I thought I'd give it a try and love the results!

72% Silk, 18% Rayon

Silk Lame' Braid is my "go to thread" to add a little sparkle to my needlepoint. It is the perfect complement to Vineyard Silk!

Seriously, I am going to have to try using all Silk Lame Braid in a project, too. Great idea.
My favorite thread this week is Gloriana silk floss, color Deep Blue Sea, which is a mix of blues and greens and just lovely. Gloriana silk floss comes in a 6 yard skein of 12 ply overdyed silk. Lovely colors and it is easy to work with.

Instead of highlighting an area it highlights the whole piece! Cant wait to see
