I’m going to stitch my new six Santa Stitches. These are small “Painted Stitches” ornaments or stand ups. I need needlepoint help picking threads! These six canvases are on #14 mesh. They also come on #18, but I’m stitching on #14. Here is a list of colors I need:
Dark Pink
Medium Pink
Light Pink
Dark Green
Medium Green
Light Green
Gold
Silver
White
Once the threads are picked I’ll start stitching them on my blog and post my progress! Thank you for helping with thread ideas!!!

I see Caron Collection Watercolours or Leah's overdyes, mixed with Trio (2 strands) and Threadworx overdyed kreiniks.

oh my goodness these are the cutest and i love nuboko stitch my all time favourite. we have colour streams threads here in New Zealand and Australia and they have a shiny perle 8 but not certain of colours. I might have to purchase one when they are available.

Perle cotton is a good idea. How about mixing it with regular tapestry wool for contrast?

Hi Barbara,
On most of my "Kisses" I have used Threadworx overdyed Vineyard Silk. That thread makes your canvases look so colorful when they are finished.
