Santa Stitches 2 Nobuko Needlepoint Stitch

Yesterday was another productive needlepoint stitching day! I had a stitching weekend, what fun!! I completed Santa Stitches 2 Nobuko Stitch.

Here is step one completed.

Whenever I stitch decorative needlepoint stitches I always complete all of step one then complete all of step two. Doing it this way really helps me “see” the second step. Much less confusing! Here’s step two completed.

The final step was the beard. I used Continental Stitch over two stitches with Boucle.

Now, I’m working on Santa Stitches 3 Rice Stitch! I’ll keep you posted!
