Santa Stitches 4 Staircase Needlepoint Stitch

I completed Santa Stitches 4 Staircase Stitch.   

Here is step one completed.

Whenever I stitch decorative needlepoint stitches I always complete all of step one then complete all of step two. Doing it this way really helps me “see” the second step. Much less confusing! Here’s step two completed. The final step was the beard. I used long diagonal stitches with Angora.

Now, I’m working on Santa Stitches 5 Arrowhead Stitch! I’ll keep you posted!
