Diagonal Hungarian Ground Stitch

Block 13 for the needlepoint Painted Stitches Sampler is the Diagonal Hungarian Ground Stitch. This stitch is a set of diagonal Mosaic stitch combined with short Jacquard type stitches. I stitched all the Mosaic stitches first and then filled in the Jacquard type stitches. Then end result is a bold, diagonal striped effect.
