Needlepoint Specialty Threads will do the work for you! I used Rainbow Gallery's Water n' Ice for the window panes. Windows are a great place to use a specialty thread for a reflective look. I used Edmar Boucle for the flower vine next to the window. I am "French Knot" challenged. Boucle is the answer!! Hope you try a Needlepoint Specialty Threads to give your next canvas some punch.

Clever Barbara! I love the more subtle look of the stitched window panes. Two shades of Water N Ice, right? And the twisty vine is just perfect.
Stitch faster. I can't wait to see how this one turns out!

Yes two colors of Water n Ice. WT1 Clear and WT2 Light Blue. This is
really a fun canvas to stitch because there are so many different areas. Thank
you for your nice comment! Im trying to stitch as fast as I can!! More
soon.

I'm loving this - and especially that vine with the boucle thread!
Your hope that we try specialty needlepoint threads made me laugh - here in the bottom south west corner of the Pacific Ocean we don't get much in the way of those! I can only look at pictures like yours and dream...
